Morocco coach Noureddine Bouhadioui expressed his happiness with his team's qualification for the 2023 World Cup in Poland and Sweden, after defeating Guinea (28-24) in the quarter-finals of the 25th African Nations Handball Championship, hosted by Egypt.

Bouhdioui said in a press conference today, Friday, "My happiness is double, being my eighth qualification with the Moroccan national team for the World Cup as a coach. ".

Bou Haddioi thanked his players for the effort they made to qualify for the World Cup, stressing that the technical staff developed a gradual plan, the first of which was to meet Cameroon to ensure qualification for the quarter-finals, then the quarter-final match to ensure qualification for the World Cup without the need to enter into a struggle for one seat.

He continued, "Today's match was difficult because with a strong opponent that was the surprise of the tournament and changed our calculations, we had to focus on beating him, especially since he had not qualified for the World Cup before and his ambition to qualify."

"We played in a defensive way different from what we were in the previous two matches after and we managed to confuse the accounts of the opponent who started the match ahead, until we dominated the match and reached the goal, which is to qualify for the World Cup."

For his part, team player Mohamed Amin Taleb expressed his happiness with Morocco's success in qualifying for the World Cup.

Bin Taleb said, "We started preparing for the tournament early and made a lot of effort and sacrificed a lot in order to reach the goal. We planned before the 2020 African Championship for several goals, the first of which was qualifying for the World Cup in Egypt last year, and then qualifying for the World Cup 2023, and now that we have achieved our second goal, the time has come. To dream more.

He concluded, "We will do our best in the semi-final match tomorrow, especially since we are playing without pressure, and we are striving hard to qualify for the continental final, and why not aspire to crown Morocco's first African championship, which it has not crowned before. We have made a great effort and we are still offering what we have and our right to." to aspire."
